Fantastic first American pressing of Sun Ra’s hugely influential ‘Astro Black’, quite possibly the most out-there record in all of Sun Ra’s vast discography, as sampled to death by Madlib on his Quasimoto- and other projects. Contains five seconds of pops and clicks on the very intro, but it’s all smooth Intergalactic sailing after that on this otherwise pristine record. Semi-stiff gatefold sleeve almost VG+.
