Fantastic double album collection of field recordings of the Nubian tribes of Northern Sudan as part of the Museum Collection Berlin (West) series, documented by ethnomusicologist Artur Simon during fieldwork in 1973 and 1974 - a beautifully authentic overview of Nubian musical traditions including vocal performances, dance music and instrumental pieces featuring the kissar (Nubian lyre), accompanied by extensive notes, photographs, musical transcriptions and translations in a bilingual German-English booklet.

Both albums near mint, glossy gatefold sleeve and booklet very good plus.
